Dentures
Why You Might Need It:
If you have gaps or missing teeth, you may be a good candidate for dentures. Dentures are a full or partial set of artificial teeth and gums that are fitted around your existing gums to replicate natural teeth. Dentures can be made for your entire mouth, or just a small portion to fill a space of mission teeth.
What is the Procedure?
You and your dentist will decide what sort of dentures you need. Once the area is clear of teeth (naturally, or through teeth extractions) and the area is prepped, a full mold of your gums in the needed area will be made. Your custom molds will then be sent to the denture lab for your custom created dentures.
During your fitting visit, you will try on the new dentures and any needed adjustments will be made to ensure a custom and comfortable fit.
What to Expect After Your Appointment:
It will take time for your mouth to adjust to your newly installed dentures. If you feel like you need an adjustment as your mouth gets used to the new dentures, we are happy to help and will make any adjustments necessary to maximize your comfort when wearing your dentures.
