Why You Might Need It:
A dental bridge can be a perfect solution to fill the space of a missing tooth with an artificial tooth and improve the appearance of your smile.
What is the Procedure?
A bridge (artificial tooth) is usually attached to one or both of the teeth surrounding the empty space of a missing tooth. Typically, crowns are placed on both teeth next to the empty space and an artificial tooth is placed in the empty space and held in place by anchoring the tooth to the two surrounding crowns.
What to Expect After Your Appointment:
After your anesthetic wears off, you may experience slight discomfort as you get used to your new bridge. Most patients take about two weeks to fully adjust their bite to the new bridge.
